Notion Tour – The Most Powerful Productivity App I Use

Since December 2020 I have been using the Notion app and I must say it is the best productivity app I ever use. The notion is a super-clean and deceptively minimalist note-taking app. It does all the tasks you'd expect from a note-taking app, but that's just where it gets started.

In this blog, I will be mentioning all the different ways in which I use notion.

1-    To Save Articles/Blogs across the Internet which I can read later and highlight the important points which I found interesting and will add value in my life.

2-    As a Habit Tracker – thanks to Thomas Frank for the template.

3-    Past Year Review (Instead of New Year’s Resolution) –

Tim Ferriss first introduced this concept (as far as I know).

Most New Year’s Resolutions don’t stick, they are too vague and unactionable. How about, instead, we take the time to review our past year and learn from what actually happened, as opposed to fantasizing about what might happen.

I started doing it from this year only, it took me about 2-3 hours to review my year but it’s worth it (Note: you are going to feel nostalgic many times during this).

Thanks to Ali Abdaal for the template.

4-    As Reading List – I listed all the books in this and differentiate them as not started, in process and completed. It helps me to overcome procrastination and read more and I am keeping a record of this so it also makes me feel good about myself.

5-    For YouTube Scripts and Idea – Since Notion in my phone is synchronised with my laptop’s notion I can write ideas whenever it pops up in my mind in phone and later on work on that in my laptop.

6-    For Blog ideas and content – Same what I did with Youtube section.

7-    For Book Notes – I store all my book notes in notion so that I can share and read them whenever and wherever I want. it’s quite helpful

P.S. This is not a sponsored post. Sharing with you my honest and unfiltered opinions about Notion and how it helps me automate and organize things.

Time is precious, and I appreciate you sharing some of your day with me by reading my work. I will do my very best to continue sending useful and valuable ideas your way.

Now, I have a quick favor to ask of you (it will only take 60 seconds of your time)...

The Favor
